MP Lutsenko asks SBU to interview him in Holuban case

Batkivshchyna faction MP Ihor Lutsenko commented on today’ decision of the Shevchenkivskyi district court which obliged the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) to enter his request to the Unified register of the pre-trial investigations and probe into Holuban’s alleged cooperation with the “DPR” terrorists.

As reported by Censor.NET, the lawmaker asked investigators to accept his testimony against current member of the Security Service of Ukraine Holuban.

"My opponents from the People's Front and Holuban himself said that they would gladly undergo all possible investigative actions into this matter. However, when I appealed to the SBU, it turned out that this agency had no desire to carry out investigation," Lutsenko said.

"We appealed to the court which ruled that this SBU's statement was unlawful. Actually, the ruling that was published today confirms this. This provides me a possibility, as a person who has filed this appeal, to request investigating the circumstances set forth in my statement. Besides, I filed a request today to interview me as a person capable to testify that Holuban was indeed an enemy combatant. I can tell a lot of the facts in this case," the lawmaker stressed.

Earlier, a member of Batkivshchyna parliamentary faction Ihor Lutsenko accused Ukrainian officers of alleged cooperation with terrorists citing the statement of "DPR" member Alexander Khodakovsky.

In turn, MP Anton Herashchenko accused Lutsenko of spreading false information about Holuban, who took part in crackdown on activists blocking trade with the occupied Donbas.

Holuban confirmed in the interview with Censor. NET that he had met with terrorist Khodakovsky three times but took no part in militants' combat operations against Ukrainian soldiers.
