 Ukraine’s Justice Ministry intends to abolish over a hundred outdated regulatory acts next week, Minister Petrenko says

Next week, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine is going to abolish more than a hundred extremely bureaucratic regulatory legal acts that were used back in the Soviet times

As reported by Censor.NET citing Interfax-Ukraine, Minister of Justice of Ukraine Pavlo Petrenko told a briefing upon completion of Justice Ministry's Board meeting in Kyiv on Friday.

"I think that there are still hundreds of such documents (extremely bureaucratic documents which have been used since the Soviet times are meant - Ed.). I can make a little announcement: next week, we are going to abolish more than a hundred outdated regulatory legal acts currently used by the State Fiscal Service and various inspections," the minister said.

He added that the relevant presentation would be held on this occasion and recalled that those efforts were made as part of the joint project of the Ministry of Justice and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on abolition of the Soviet era bureaucratic documents.
