One person was killed and two his guards were taken to hospital with multiple gunshot wounds to various parts of the body after more than 30 shots were fired at the security agency car.

Censor.NET reports citing the statement by the press service of the National Police Main Directorate in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

"The crime scene team found the car of a security agency with the body of a man and two wounded guards wearing body armor. The man died on the spot as a result of the attack while the guards were seriously injured. They were taken to the hospital and provided with medical treatment. Their condition is currently stable," the report reads.

The law enforcement officers also established that the attackers took a bag with a large amount of money belonging to the killed person.

"The person ran a business. He has been subjected to armed assaults previously, which is why he has been guarded by members of a security agency over two years. The guards were accompanying him on the way to his office and back home," the police officials said.


The operation to apprehend the perpetrators was launched in the region soon after the assault report. The attackers are still being searched for. The police take all necessary measures to establish the suspects in the murder.

The Dnipro City Sobornyi district police department initiated criminal proceedings into the incident under paragraphs 1 and 6 of part 2 of article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (premeditated murder).
