Russian militants attacked Ukrainian Army positions 55 times yesterday, used 122 mm artillery, 120 mm mortars, - Staff

The Russian terrorist forces committed 55 attacks on positions of Ukrainian servicemen in the Donbas over the past 24-hour period.

Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff press center.

According to the Staff, the Russian occupying forces fired upon Talakivka, Vodiane, Shyrokyne, Lebedynske, Novotroitske, Hnutove, Krasnohorivka, Novohryhorivka, and Pavlopil in Mariupol direction with grenade launchers and small arms. The enemy snipers repeatedly committed attacks in Shyrokyne, Hnutove and Lebedynske.

In Luhansk direction, the militants shelled Novozvanivka and Troitske with 122 mm artillery and 120 mm mortars. Bohuslavske came under 82 mm mortar strike. Troitske was also fired upon with grenade launchers and small arms.

In Donetsk direction, the illegal armed groups employed 120 mm mortars against Nevelske; 82 mm mortars - against Avdiivka; grenade launchers and small arms - against Luhanske, Zaitseve, Kamianka, and Avdiivka.

"A total of 55 attacks were recorded over the past day. One Ukrainian soldier was wounded," the situation report reads.
