Censor.NET reports referring to the ministerial website.
"The Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade has decided to impose anti-dumping duties in respect of Russian imports of fertilizers," the statement notes.
According to the ministry, the results of an inquiry into imports of certain types of nitrogen fertilizers from Russia indicate the use of dumping by exporters. In this regard, the Verkhovna Rada will soon consider a bill on measures to diversify the supply of fertilizers by reducing the import duty rates for the most popular types of fertilizers. As for the Russian export rate, it will be increased via imposition of an anti-dumping surcharge.
However, unless the parliament adopts the said bill, the introduction of anti-dumping measures against Russia's fertilizers will be delayed.
