Russian militants committed two unsuccessful assault operations today, shelled Myronivka with 152 mm guns, - Staff

The Ukrainian troops repulsed two enemy assaults today.

Censor.NET reports citing the spot report by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff press center.

The report reads: "The Russian terrorist forces started shelling positions of our troops with 122 mm guns and 120 mm mortars at about 8:30 a.m.

"The enemy launched an offensive on one of our positions under the cover of artillery at 9 a.m. The assault was stopped by fire in response and the militants' were forced to retreat.

"The Russian terrorist troops resumed shelling our positions at 10 a.m. using weapons banned by the Minsk agreements, namely 122 mm artillery and 120 mm mortars and went into the offensive. The return fire forced the enemy to retreat and no further attempts to launch an offensive were made.

"In addition, the enemy committed two strikes on Myronivka village with large-caliber 152-mm artillery over the day," the report reads.
