Ukraine must pay 111,000 euros to the Amsterdam’s Allard Pierson Museum for storing and inventorying its ancient artifacts.

Dutch newspaper Der Telegraaf wrote citing own sources, Censor.NET reports referring to Lіga.

The Russian party that insisted that the treasures must be returned to Crimean museums, have three months to appeal the ruling. The museum will continue holding Scythian gold until all appeals are settled.

As reported, Amsterdam court ruled on Wednesday, Dec. 14, that a priceless collection of gold artifacts from Crimea that were on loan to a Dutch museum when Russia occupied the peninsula must be returned to Ukraine and not the museums that originally held them.
