Prosecutor General Office has received the full video of a shooting between police officers in Kniazhychi.

This was announced by Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko, Censor.NET reports.

"Today we have received the full video of the tragic events. The shooting was recorded, and experts are working to improve video quality. We understand the situation in general, but there are some things that can be found out only by experts," the prosecutor general said.

"Preparation of the operation to catch a robber gang, negligence of leaders of this operation and the tragic clash of police officers... all of this took place. For example, now we establish the sequence of shots, ballistics, trace examination, physical and psychological state of the participants. Though it is unlikely will change the picture that we already got,'' he said.

''As soon as the video is ready and the investigators agree to show it, it will be published, and you will see that there is nothing but negligence in the planning of the operation and tragic circumstances that led to the clash of highly professional officers," Lutsenko said.

As reported earlier, five police officers were killed in the shooting on Sunday night in the village of Kniazhychi, the Kyiv region. Two of them were servicemen of the security police, two were police investigators, and one was a KORD special purpose unit serviceman.

According to Interior Ministry Adviser Anton Herashchenko, it was an accidental skirmish caused by a mistake that led to the deaths of five servicemen.

The prosecutor's office of the Kyiv region is conducting pre-trial investigation into the incident.
