Ukrainian troops came under 31 attacks yesterday as militants used mortars, grenade launchers, IFVs, - Staff

The Russian occupation forces fired upon the Ukrainian Army positions 31 times over the past 24-hour period.

Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff press center.

The situation report reads: "The Russian occupation forces shelled Avdiivka in Donetsk direction with 120 mm and 82 mm mortars and grenade launchers. Opytne and Kamianka later came under strikes with grenade launchers of various systems.

"In Luhansk direction, the invaders mortared Krymske, Balka Kosharna, and Novozvanivka. Stanytsia Luhanska came under fire with grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns.

"Shyrokyne and Krasnohorivka in Mariupol direction were fired at with mortars; Novohryhorivka, Vodiane, and Talakivka - with IFV guns; Novotroitske - with grenade launchers. The enemy also shelled Shyrokyne with a tank while sniper attacks were recorded in Marinka and Novotroitske.

"The total of 31 attacks were committed against our positions over the past day," the statement reads.

As reported, the Russian militants fired upon the ATO forces' positions 38 times Nov. 28.
