Ukraine and Russia see Donbas road map logic differently, - Foreign Minister Klimkin

The road map offered by Russia has nothing in common with the one proposed by Ukraine.

This was announced by Ukraine's Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin in Livyi Bereh show with Sonia Koshkina, Censor.NET reports.

"Russia says we should vote the bills first, which means legitimization of those who are there [in the Donbas - ed.]. Thus the Russian logic is that this Russian colony should exist. And it will
continue destabilizing us," Klimkin said on legislation stipulating for special status for the Donbas areas controlled by separatists that should be adopted by Ukraine under the Minsk accords.

The minister said the logic of the Ukrainian side is that Russia should leave the occupied territories of Ukraine, and OSCE take control over the eastern part of the Ukraine-Russia border.

Klimkin said OSCE should temporarily control not only eastern Russia-Ukrainian border, but the occupied areas as well.

Earlier, leaders of the Normandy Four countries (Ukraine, Germany, France and Russia) agreed in Berlin to draft a 'road map' by the end of November for implementation of the Minsk accords.
