Opposition Bloc MP Skoryk received accommodation benefits from state while owning luxury apartments, houses, and collection of watches

Family of Opposition Bloc MP Mykola Skoryk owns several large apartments, houses, and a collection of watches.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was evidenced by electronic income statement of the MP posted in the Unified State Registry of income statements of state officials.

Skoryk himself owns two apartments in Odesa of 170 sq.m. (bought in 2004) and 523 sq.m. (bought in 2009), three parking lots, and a 200-square-meter house and office in Odesa. The MP's wife owns a land plot in Yalta, Crimea, a 60-square-meter apartment and a summer house in Odesa, and a land plot of 1,274 sq. m. with a summer house of 600 sq.m. at the Black Sea shore.

While owning this number of luxury real estate facilities, the MP did not refuse to receive state benefits for covering accommodation expenses in Kyiv in amount of 170,000 hryvnia.

Skoryk and his wife also own an impressive collection of Swiss and Italian watches by F.P.Journe Octa Auto, Patek Philippe, Ulysse Nardin, Chopard Happy Sport, Bulgari, purchased between 2005 and 2012. The MP drives a MERCEDES-BENZ ML 350 made in 2013, and his wife drives a Lexus RX 350 made in 2007.

Skoryk owns shares in banks and JSCs worth of 1.6 million hryvnia, as well as a 10-percent share of Kredo-63 rugby club. The MP's cash savings total 550,000 hryvnia ($21,000) and $55,000.

Skoryk was the governor of the Odesa region back in 2014 and is suspected of involvement in bloody dispersion of the demonstration at Odesa regional administration building on Feb. 19, 2014.
