Censor.NET informs citing the situation report by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff press center as of Oct. 6, 2016.
According to the Staff, 12 violations of silence regime were recorded at Luhansk direction: "The enemy committed armed provocations on the outskirts of Novooleksandrivka, Novozvanivka, Balka Krutenka, Triokhizbenka, and Stanytsia Luhanska using small arms, machine guns and grenade launchers. The ATO forces in Novooleksandrivka, Novozvanivka, and Balka Krutenka were shelled with 120 mm mortars.
"Eight attacks were recorded at Donetsk direction. The enemy employed small arms and grenade launchers against Avdiivka, Pisky, Opytne, Novhorodske and Verkhniotoretske. The enemy also committed strikes with 82 mm mortars not far from Avdiivka and Verkhniotoretske.
"The Russian occupation troops violated the cease-fire deal 20 times at Mariupol direction. The enemy committed armed provocations in the vicinity of Vodiane, Chermalyk, Marinka, Shyrokyne, Hnutove, Pavlopil, and Starohnativka. In addition to grenade launchers and small arms, the invaders employed 82 mm mortar against the ATO forces near Taramchuk. The enemy snipers committed attacks near Marinka, Shyrokyne and Hnutove," the latest update reads.
It is also noted that four enemy UAVs were spotted in the anti-terrorist operation area over the past day.
As reported, the militants committed 68 attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oct. 4.
