“We had emotionally charged meeting, dismissed 29 judges,” - Parubii closes Rada session

The speaker reminded that the next meeting of Ukrainian parliament members will be held next Tuesday.

Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andrii Parubii has adjourned the parliamentary meeting, correspondent for Censor.NET reports.

Prior to that, he invited the MPs to observe a minute of silence to commemorate the Babyn Yar victims. He recalled that many Ukrainian public figures were killed during this tragedy, including poetess Olena Teliha. About 600 members of Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) as well as the representatives of different nationalities, including Jews and Roma were also executed then.

Closing the meeting, Parubii said:

"We have taken crucial and responsible decisions today. We had an emotionally charged meeting. We dismissed 29 judges. I congratulate everyone who took part in the work," Parubii noted and reminded that the next meeting was scheduled for the next Tuesday.
