Andrii Teteruk noted that TV channel's Managing Editor Maria Stolyarova was earlier expelled from Ukraine. However, there was still no SBU's reaction to the activities of Russian national Igor Shuvalov, who was in charge of Inter TV channel's information policy.

"The Ukrainian Security Service is actually beyond the executive branch, but you have just released the information and I will definitely bring it to the knowledge of the SBU leadership," Hroisman said.

Earlier, media released e-mails of Inter TV channel's ex-employee Maria Stolyarova evidencing the involvement of Russian spin doctors in promotion of projects run by Ukrainian nonaffiliated MP Dmytro Dobrodomov (Hromadskyi kontrol project) and Poroshenko Bloc faction MP Serhii Kaplin (Partia Prostykh Liudei). In particular, journalist Serhii Ivanov analyzed Stolyarova's correspondence and made a conclusion that Kaplin's Partia Prostykh Liudei and Dobrodomov's Hromadskyi kontrol were run by Russia.

As reported, ATO veterans dissatisfied with Inter TV channel's policy held a rally outside one of the channel's offices in Kyiv Sept. 4. Subsequently, the rally turned into a fight and unknown individuals set the TV channel's office on fire. A scuffle took place between the TV channel's security guards and protesters after that. The police detained six protesters.

President Petro Poroshenko instructed Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko to personally monitor the investigation into the situation that had developed around Inter TV channel.
