G7 to cooperate with Moscow when progress reached in Donbas and Syria, - Steinmeier

Russia might return to G8 next year if it demonstrates significant progress in compliance with the Minsk agreements in the Donbas and the cease-fire in Syria.

This was announced by German's Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier in an interview with RedaktionsNetzwerks Deutschland, Censor.NET reports citing Ukraine Today.

"The conflicts in Syria and Ukraine show that it is in our interest not to exclude Russia from the close cooperation of the major economies," Steinmeier said.
