U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt expects the new batch of non-lethal aid to be delivered in Ukraine from the United States in the coming days.

According to the diplomat, the U.S. provided security assistance to Ukraine worth $600 million. Geoffrey Pyatt added that he was very proud of the current achievements having in mind drills in Yavoriv, state-of-the-art non-lethal weapons, and more than a thousand night vision goggles. He promised the new delivery in the coming days.

Asked whether Ukraine would ever receive Javelin anti-tank missile systems, the ambassador noted that Ukraine was able to provide itself with the necessary weapons on its own.

According to him, Ukraine has a powerful defense industry capable of producing its own ammunition. The U.S. ambassador expressed hope that Ukrainian defense industry's productive capacity would increase dramatically thanks to the cooperation between the countries in the coming months and years.

As reported earlier, the United States provided Ukraine with counter-battery radars capable of locating the enemy artillery. The U.S. also delivered a large number of unmanned aerial vehicles in Ukraine last July.
