This was announced by Petro Poroshenko Bloc MP Mustafa Nayyem on his Facebook page, Censor.NET reports.
"The assault against the NABU is getting hotter. If my understanding is correct, the Prosecutor General's Office and SBU are preparing a number of criminal proceedings against employees of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, including from among top leadership. In the near future, suspicions to the detective department leadership are being drafted. The attack will be conducted in all directions - accusation of illegal activities, public defamation, sabotage, complete suspension of creation of the Anti-corruption court. All of this follows a week-long silence of the prosecutor general in response to the kidnapping of two NABU employees, who had been illegally detained for more than 10 hours in a PGO department building at 7/9 Symona Petliury Str.," the MP stated.
"I really hope that those who initiated all of this realize what they are doing and what can happen. NABU is the only law enforcement agency in the country whose leadership has no political obligations. It has been created despite the politicians' will, and they are doing anything to stop its operations. This is war. But not against corruption and lawlessness. This is the war of the outgoing elite for its stolen status quo," Nayyem added.
"Looks like we have to employ street democracy. Tomorrow at 10 a.m. an event in protection of NABU will take place at PGO's office (13 Riznytska Str.). Please join. We will all be there," Nayyem summed up.
Earlier, PGO's Major Fraud Investigations Department Head Volodymyr Hutsuliak claimed that three prosecutors were beaten by NABU commandos Aug. 12. On that day, the Prosecutor General's Office members found out that they were kept under surveillance from an observation post deployed on 7/9 Symona Petliury Str. in Kyiv.
