One Ukrainian perished, two injured in traffic accident in Moscow region, - Foreign Ministry

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine confirmed that one Ukrainian citizen died and two more were injured in a road traffic accident that occurred on a highway in the Moscow region of the Russian Federation.

This was reported by spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry Oresta Starak, Censor.NET reports citing 112 Ukraine.

"According to our embassy in the Russian Federation, the bus with Ukrainian license plates carrying more than 30 passengers was involved in a crash on a highway in the Moscow region Aug. 15. All passengers were citizens of Ukraine. One person died and two were injured as a result of the accident," Starak said.

According to her, the victims were taken to the central hospital in Domodedovo. They left for Moscow after receiving medical assistance. The Ukrainian Embassy in the Russian Federation has notified the relatives of the deceased person. He turned out to be a resident of the Luhansk region. The issue on his funeral is currently being addressed.
