"Russia's accusations that Ukraine has launched terrorist attacks in occupied Crimea are as cynical and insane as its claims there are no Russian troops in eastern Ukraine.

"These fantasies only serve as a pretext for more military threats against Ukraine.

"Ukraine decisively condemns terrorism in all its forms and shapes. We would never use terror to de-occupy Crimea," Poroshenko noted.

According to him, Russia supplies money and arms to terrorists in the Donbas, while terrorism itself became part of its state-led policy in the best traditions of the 1930s Stalinist Russia.

"Russia will fail to undermine Ukraine's international reputation and have the sanctions lifted with the help of such provocative allegations.

"I urge Russian authorities to honor international law, in particular respect the sovereignty, territorial integrity of states and human rights.

"I expect Russia to properly implement security clauses of the Minsk accords, including via the Normandy format.

"Ukraine is set to restore its sovereignty and territorial integrity, including the de-occupation of Crimea, exclusively through political and diplomatic tools," the president summed up.
