 Midterm elections to Ukrainian parliament: CEC processed 72.5 percent of ballots. RESULTS

As at 3:27 p.m., July 18, the Central Election Commission of Ukraine (CEC) had counted 72.5 percent of ballots in midterm elections of people's deputies, which took place yesterday in seven constituencies across the country. Two of the constituencies have got over 90 percent of ballots processed, two - over 80 percent, two more - over 60 percent. Only 8.27 percent of ballots have been processed at the 114th constituency (the Luhansk region) as no updates as for number of counted ballots have been received from it since 10 a.m., July 18.

According to the Central Election Commission, the current leaders of elections are Iryna Konstankevych,Tetiana Rychkova, Viktor Shevchenko, Ruslan Bohdan, Yurii Odarchenko, Serhii Shakhov and Maksym Mykytas, Censor.NET reports.

It should be noted that no updates as for number of counted ballots have been made in the 27th constituency (Dnipro) and 114th constituency (the Luhansk region) since 10 a.m., July 18.

As previously reported, the CEC held midterm elections in seven constituencies after the following people's deputies resigned over a number of reasons: Borys Filatov (became mayor of Dnipro), Vladyslav Atroshenko (mayor of Chernihiv), Ihor Nasalyk (minister of energy), Taras Kutovyi (minister of agrarian policy), Ihor Yeremeiev (died in an accident), Yurii Harbuz (head of the Luhansk regional military and civil administration), and Andrii Hordeiev (head of the Kherson regional administration).
