MP Leshchenko comments on his meeting with Russian oligarch Grigorishyn: "I've known him for 12 years, and will keep communicating with him"

Petro Poroshenko Bloc (PPB) MP Serhii Leshchenko has commented on his meeting with Russian-Ukrainian oligarch Konstantin Grigorishyn in a Kyiv restaurant, reported earlier by former MP Vasyl Horbal.

Leshchenko wrote on his Facebook page, Censor.NET informs.

"Being honest means being honest with myself at first place. In 15 years of my career as a journalist and the two-year MP career there has not been a single case of me accepting money for publications, speeches, bills or requests. If there are witnesses or proofs of that - please demonstrate them. Instead, there are informational attacks regularly provoked by people whose corrupt schemes had been unveiled by me," the MP explained.

We have never been engaged in joint political project or monetary relations," Leshchenko added.

"Our meeting took place in a public venue, with many politicians being there at the same time, who now are keeping silence about this fact. I was not hiding, and do not deem in necessary," the MP said.

Leshchenko stressed he himself paid his bill, and said he was ready to hold responsibility for his words and deeds.
