National Guard Commander Allerov expects expert review by NATO on National Guard reforms

Commander of the National Guard Yurii Allerov is expecting expert evaluation by representatives of NATO on reform of the National Guard of Ukraine.

He said at a briefing, Censor.NET informs citing Ukrainski Novyny.

"As a commander, I am looking forward to a group of experts from NATO office to work in the National Guard and provide advice and expert evaluation of the steps we are making, and review of the sectors we have completed," he said.

According to Director of the NATO Liaison Office in Ukraine Alexander Vinnikov, about 15 NATO advisers are working in Ukraine at the moment. They cover the entire defense sector, including the Defense Ministry, the Ukroboronprom SE (group of state companies - weapons manufacturers), and the command of the Special Operation Forces.

Vinnikov noted three more NATO advisers are expected to arrive in Ukraine soon, including adviser on defense resources management, adviser on cooperation with the parliament, and adviser on general coordination of aid provided to Ukraine by NATO and member countries.
