Elizabeth II appoints Theresa May new Britain's PM


On Wednesday, July 13, Queen Elizabeth II appointed Theresa May new prime minister of Great Britain.

As reported by Censor.NET citing Interfax-Ukraine, the monarch had accepted the resignation of previous head of the British government David Cameron, who is expected to shortly hand over the keys to Downing Street and the nuclear briefcase to his successor.

The Twitter account of Great Britain's PM has been already updated, showing the name of the new head of the British government Theresa May.

May has become the 13th prime minister appointed by Queen Elizabeth II during her reign since 1952.
