Kerry to visit Moscow to discuss road map for Minsk deal implementation, - Minister Klimkin

Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin says United States Secretary of State John Kerry will take part in agreeing a road map for implementation of the agreements signed in Minsk (Belarus) in February 2015.

He said it during the Seventh Eastern Partnership Informal Dialogue, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.

"We discussed the elements of the road map with John Kerry, this logic was considered during a G5- Ukraine meeting. John Kerry is visiting Moscow this week... Intensive consultations in the Normandy format with both our French, German colleagues and U.S. partners are underway to determine the basics: how to maintain the sequence of steps and the time frame," Klimkin said.

First of all, according to him, clear guarantees of the implementation of such steps on the part of Russia are expected.

As previously reported, President Petro Poroshenko said that the leaders of the U.S., Great Britain, Germany, France, Italy, and Ukraine had agreed on developing a road map for implementation of the Minsk agreements.
