The situation in the area of anti-terrorist operation (ATO) remains strained. Since midnight, Russian occupation troops have violated the cease-fire 21 times.

Censor.NET reports referring to the ATO press center.

"In the Luhansk region, militants fired Minsk-banned 122-mm artillery and 120-mm mortars on ATO forces' positions in Novooleksandrivka. Stanytsia Luhanska was hit with grenade launchers and small arms.

"At Donetsk direction, an enemy subversive group attempted to get into the rear of our strong points outside Troitske. As a result of the skillful actions of Ukrainian soldiers, invaders retreated with losses.

"Ukrainian defenders in Avdiivka came under 82-mm mortar, grenade launcher, and heavy machine gun fire, while positions near Butivka mine were hit with RPGs.

"At Mariupol direction, Ukrainian soldiers in Slavne, Krasnohorivka, and Pavlopil came under mortar fire (82-mm). Near Marinka, terrorists employed small arms, while enemy snipers were active in the vicinity of Krasnohorivka and Novohryhorivka," the evening report reads.
