Ukraine and Poland sign protocol on military and technical cooperation

Ukrainian Defense Minister, General Stepan Poltorak met with his Polish counterpart Antoni Macierewiecz during the NATO summit in Warsaw.

Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the Defense Ministry.

The parties discussed the process of reforms of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry and the situation in the east of Ukraine.

The defense ministers signed the protocol between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Poland on amendments to the Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and Government of the Republic of Poland on military and technical cooperation.

The protocol stipulates the establishment of a working group for military and technical cooperation. This group will act in the framework of the Ukrainian-Polish Intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation.

This protocol also regulates the military technical cooperation activities and allows defining prospective projects of the bilateral cooperation.
