Permanent representative of the Russian Federation to NATO Alexander Grushko said that Moscow was concerned about the deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine detachments drilled by the Alliance instructors to the contact line in the Donbas.
"The assistance programs that NATO implements in Ukraine grist to the mill of the "war party," producing feeling with certain powers in Kyiv that a military revenge is possible. We are also concerned by the fact that the detachments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine trained by the instructors from the NATO countries are deployed to the contact line in the Donbas," the Russian permanent representative to NATO said.
Grushko added that Russia was as well concerned by the policy implemented by the Alliance under the pretext of the crisis in Ukraine. According to him, the Ukrainian crisis has "now acquired a form of military planning which is very dangerous".
"The military planning, which is directed against Russia, will inevitably generate hostile policy as well. NATO will be forced to explain to the public all the time why the Alliance is spending such resources on deterring the threat from the east," Grushko summed up.
