Onyshchenko not in Ukraine, Special Anti-corruption prosecutor says

Today, July 5, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will vote on the presentation by Prosecutor General's Office (PGO), which includes lifting of immunity, detention, and arrest of the Volia Narodu MP Oleksandr Onyshchenko. The voting will include three bills, one on each item of the presentation.

This was announced by Head of the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office Nazar Kholodnytskyi on the sidelines of the Verkhovna Rada, Censor.NET informs.

He said the rules of conduct of the parliament stipulate for a presentation to be voted on each of its articles separately. However, the presentation by the PGO (on lifting the immunity, detention, and arrest) remains a single one. He called all the talks on the issue "just a reason not to vote."

Kholodnytskyi also noted that a draft notice of suspicion to Onyshchenko has been prepared.
