Between July 4-9, the Canada-U.S. joint mission, pursuant to the international Open Skies Treaty, will perform an observation flight over Russia's territory aboard a Canadian C-130 observing aircraft from the Tiksi Airport.

"In the course of the flight on the agreed route, Russian specialists on board an observing aircraft will monitor the adherence to the agreed flight parameters as well as the use of equipment specified by the Treaty," Head of the National Center for Nuclear Risk Reduction of Ukraine Sergey Ryzhkov said.
