Income to prevail over expenses in next year's budget, - Minister Danyliuk

Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk said that the state budget for next year will be as realistic as possible, and that state income in 2017 will exceed the expenses.

He said in an interview to ZN.UA, Censor.NET reports.

"The income should be primary. If we choose expenses as the starting point, we will then customize the revenue part, draw unrealistic plans for revenue and then seek funds to cover the scarce items," Danyliuk said.

"However difficult it would be, the state budget for next year should be as realistic as possible. We must be honest with each other. It is now crucial for the army, for the education reform, and for the health care. We need to understand our perspective and where we are going, what we can afford and what we cannot," he added.

"You can not implement a reform if you do not know whether you have money for it. Therefore, revenues will be primary in the budget of the new year, while the expenses will be derivative. We should get used to the correct budget process," he concluded.Источник: https://censor.net.ua/en/n395821
