"The lives of several persons is really under threat, for the matter is very serious. The names have been voiced nationwide, and now the issue of their security is being raised," Sytnyk said at a press conference in Kyiv on Wednesday, Censor.NET informs citing Interfax-Ukraine.
He asked those persons to address the NABU: "We are willing to listen to everyone, including on conditions of anonymity."
Sytnyk also said that as long as the materials are extensive, the Bureau will first of all deal with the largest amounts, gradually passing to smaller ones.
Answering a question where the NABU intends to interrogate everyone on the list, the head of the Bureau said: "Certainly." He also added that the persons involved into the largest transactions will be interrogated first.
As reported, on May Earlier, Petro Poroshenko Bloc (PPB) MP Serhii Leshchenko and journalists Anton Marchuk and Sevhil Musaieva-Borovyk published some of the documents proving the existence of Party of Regions' slush funds. According to the materials, the Party of Regions spent $66 million on political corruption over the second half of 2012.
Even earlier, ex-Deputy Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Viktor Trepak said he had passed the information about Party of Regions' slush funds to the NABU. According to Sytnyk, the Bureau is starting the identification process for persons mentioned in the list.
