ATO fighter Shkutiak appointed chief of PGO's internal security

Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko has appointed Petro Shkutiak, an anti-terrorist operation combatant, head of PGO's internal security working group intended for verifying the integrity of prosecutors.

He said it at his first press conference, Censor.NET reports citing UNIAN.

"Petro Shkutiak has been appointed head of PGO's internal security working group which will verify the integrity of prosecutors in the center and regions," Lutsenko said.

"Petro Shkutiak, 35 years, passed the way from apprentice to the head of the Dolynska district state administration, took part in the Maidan protests, volunteered for war as Aidar battalion fighter, was seriously wounded near the Lugansk airport (Heorhiivka village), has five children," Lutsenko said.

One of internal security's main tasks is to check the compliance of prosecutors' official income with their lifestyle. Unofficially, Shkutiak's position is called "cleaner".
