'Myrotvorets' webiste ceases operation

The team of the 'Myrotvorets' (Peacemaker) project, which gathers information of Russian soldiers fighting in Ukraine, is closing down its website due to the scandal around publication of data about journalists accredited with self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk 'people's republics.' All information from the website will be archived and posted online for general public access.

This is announced in a statement of the team published on their website, Censor.NET informs.

"Considering the reaction stirred by the publication of the list of reporters accredited by the terrorist organization "DPR", the demands by ombudsman Valeriia Lutkovska, and the permanently concerned EU, as well anti-Ukrainian reporters of Ukraine, headed by deputy minister of informational policy of Ukraine T. Popova, 'Myrotvorets' center has decided to close down its website," the message reads.

"At the moment, the Center's employees are archiving all available information, which would later be published for public access, so that everyone would be able to download it and see locally on his/her computer. We thank law enforcement agencies of Ukraine for having used our system of identification of pro-Russian militants and Russian spies, thus guarding our peace and tranquility, as well as those who, for the public good, were sending us information about separatists, terrorists, mercenaries, and other war criminals. Thank you for having been with us and supporting Ukraine with all your heart! So long, and thanks for all the fish," the team of the project summed up.

" 'Myrotvorets' project will be closed down! After a criminal proceeding against 'Myrotvorets' project employees was initiated upon a statement by a group of Ukrainian and foreign journalists, after bullying organized by certain media of Ukraine; due to accusations of posting personal data, and due to the demands of an EU representative to block the data from the website, the group of anonymous hackers and patriots of Ukraine has decided to close down the 'Myrotvorets' project. Thank you all Ukrainian patriots who helped and supported the 'Myrotvotrets' project," MP Anton Herashchenko wrote on his Facebook page.
