He stated this during an hour of questions to the government in the Verkhovna Rada, commenting on the charge of Radical Party MP Oleh Kupriienko, Censor.NET correspondent informs.
Kupriienko asked Hroisman: "Will the minister quit his post or wait for being fired over his offshore firms by the Verkhovna Rada?"
Hroisman said: "During his stay in the post of finance minister, as far as I understand, Danyliuk has not registered any companies." The PM also noted that the minister must give a comprehensive answer, and "if the answer is not in line with the law, he has to make his decision."
"But I'd like the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption to examine this issue in detail. Because it's not about resignation - if there were violations, abuses, and corruption, then he should be brought to justice. It's about the personal responsibility of the minister... And I'm looking forward to receiving data that should have been entered in the declaration so that I can come to some conclusion."
The finance minister himself said that yesterday he already gave explanations and hired lawyers to sort out the issue as he has "no time" for that.
