Poroshenko expects creation of coalition and introduction of Hroisman as PM on April 12

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko expects the new parliamentary coalition to be created on Tuesday, together with Hroisman's presentation as prime minister.

He said in an interview to Ukrainian TV channels, Censor.NET informs citing Interfax-Ukraine.

"I expect that not later than next week, desirably on Tuesday, we hear good news from the parliament... Those responsible MPs, I hope that there will be a majority of them in the parliament, that they will create the coalition, it should happen on Tuesday, that they will present a candidacy of the prime minister; I have stressed many times that I will work with any prime minister," the president said.

Poroshenko expects that Volodymyr Hroisman will be proposed as prime minister.

"In addition, I believe that the parliament will vote the action program of the government," the president said.

He also informed that right after the new Cabinet is formed, the new prosecutor general will be appointed.

"Right after the new prime minister is elected, the government will gather, on the same day I will appoint consultations with heads of all parliamentary factions on the candidacy of the new prosecutor general," Poroshenko said, adding that this issue could be addressed this week.
