NABU asks for proofs of possible bribery of deputies voting for Cabinet's resignation

The National Anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) calls on the MPs, public figures, and other persons, who have the information concerning bribery of the Verkhovna Rada deputies, passing a no-confidence motion against the Cabinet of Ministers on Feb. 16, to submit it to the agency.

Censor.NET reports citing the statement issued by the National Anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine.

"The National Anti-corruption Bureau urges people's deputies, public figures, and other persons, aware of particular facts regarding the statement of Yulia Tymoshenko on bribery of deputies or any other corrupt offenses, to report them to NABU in accordance with the law," the statement reads.

The agency explained that Chairman of the Batkivshchyna parliamentary faction Yulia Tymoshenko stated on air of one of the TV channels Feb. 16 that the lawmakers were allegedly offered a bribe, so that they did not support passing a no-confidence motion against the government.
