 Not enough MPs support Cabinet resignation, Deputy Speaker Parubii says

Not the staffing issues but the government's and parliament’s action plan should be the subject of the discussion.

First Vice-Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrii Parubii told reporters, Censor.NET informs citing Lіga.

"There are currently not enough votes to dismiss the incumbent government and appoint the new one. The tensions actually grow in view of Feb. 16 (government's report in the parliament - Ed.). Although being aware of the situation in the parliament, I see no reason to take this or that decision," he said.

Parubii stressed that it were not the staffing issues but the government's and parliament's action plan, which should become the subject of the debate. "As far as I know, the government is going to submit this action plan to the parliament today so we will be able to discuss," Parubii said.
