Economic Minister Deputy: "I resign together with Abromavicius"

Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Yulia Klymenko intends to leave office, following resignation of Minister Aivaras Abromavicius.

She wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET informs.

"I have been asked a lot about it, so I want to confirm that I'm indeed going to leave office together with the minister... I fully support and agree with every minister's word not because I has been his deputy, but because I am a responsible citizen and a patriot of Ukraine. It is a well-considered and pragmatic decision. At the same time, it is not an escape from the battlefield, since it has never actually been a battle but a constant simulation, which we were deliberately dragged into," she wrote.

Klymenko says that the team of Abromavicius has launched several reforms that are "already underway and are irreversible" over its 10 months ministerial tenure.

"This includes administrative services reform and a number of reforms for which we use the word "deregulation" to determine, the reform of state control and supervision, a variety of programs to support small and medium-sized businesses, and more. Ukrainian business entities and citizens need them badly. We will continue to actively support these reforms as social activists and will not let any corrupt official stop them," Yulia Klimenko said.
