Kremlin wants "Russian" Donbas rather than elections, - Minister Klimkin on talks with Russia

There is no constructive dialogue with Russia on holding real elections in the Donbas.

This was stated by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin upon meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark Kristian Jensen in Brussels on Monday, Censor.NET reports referring to Ukrinform.

"There is no real debate on the forthcoming elections, because we are not talking about elections. This is all about taking care of the Russian Donbas, destabilizing in the Donbas and the whole Ukraine," the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry stressed, noting today he would inform the ministers of foreign affairs of EU countries on how the Ukrainian side fulfills its commitments under the Minsk agreements.
