Tower of Kakhovka-Tytan power transmission line collapsed yesterday cutting off power supply to Russian-occupied Crimea, - Ukrenerho

The collapsed tower of the Kakhovka-Tytan power transmission line, which delivers energy from mainland Ukraine in Crimea occupied by the Russian Federation, was found 20 km away from the city of Kakhovka around midnight.

Ukrenerho spokesperson Zinovii Butsio said on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel, Censor.NET reported.

According to him, the employees of Ukrenerho have found the collapsed tower during sweep around midnight.

"We have found the tower that fell to the ground during the perimeter sweep around midnight. It was impossible to carry out detailed examination in darkness. Therefore, the nature of the damage will be established at dawn. The application for repair works has been already lodged. And the trouble cleaning measures - the repair or replacement of the tower, will be taken depending on this," Butsio said.
