"The court ruled: to return the indictment in the criminal proceedings against Oleksandr Yefremov, Oleksandr Stoian, and Serhii Hordiienko to prosecutor Zymohliad due to mismatch of the indictment with the requirements of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine; to turn down the appeal by prosecutor Zymohliad regarding imposition of restrictive measures on Yefremov, Stoian, and Hordiienko under Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine," she said.

The prosecutor appealed the suspect to be banned to travel outside Kyiv but the court denied the appeal and permitted Rada ex-MPs Yefremov, Stoian and Hordiienko to travel abroad, Ukrainian News writes.

The case against Yefremov, Stoian and Hordiienko was investigated in connection with the illegal adoption of the "dictatorial laws" of Jan. 16, 2014. The defendants were accused under Part 2 of the Article 364 (abuse of office - punished by imprisonment for a term of five to eight years), Part 2 of the Article 366 (forgery - three to five years in prison) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
