 OSCE recognizes mayoral elections in several cities in Ukraine as democratic

According to the OSCE/ODIHR, the Sunday’s second round of the election of mayors of major Ukrainian cities took place at a high organizational level and met democratic standards.

Head of the ODIHR election observation mission Tana de Zulueta said at a press conference in Kyiv on Monday, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax.

She said that according to the reports of the OSCE observers, the competent personnel of the polling stations had organized the elections properly.

According to Tana de Zulueta, the observers assessed the voting process as "good" and "very good" in 99 percent of cases, subject to monitoring.
