Interior Minister adviser Ivan Stoiko said it, reporting on the progress of local elections, Censor.NET reports citing Hromadske.
"There were grave violations by the territorial election commission chairman, in particular, in Mariupol, and, in my opinion, by the chairman of the Central Election Commission who had to react to it. Regardless of status or position, all those involved will be questioned and the investigation will dot the i's," Stoiko said.
The Interior Ministry has already instituted criminal proceedings with regard to obstructing the exercise of voting right in Krasnoarmiisk and Svatove.
As for Mariupol, criminal proceedings are underway with the case having been entered in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations.
Meanwhile, Okhendovsky said Sunday the failure of elections in Mariupol and Krasnoarmiisk was due to the members of election commissions.
