NATO Assembly fully adopted "Solidarity with Ukraine" resolution – Nayyem

The NATO Parliamentary Assembly adopted the "Solidarity with Ukraine" resolution, fully taking into account the amendments of the Ukrainian delegation and ignoring those coming from Ukraine's foes.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the Poroshenko Bloc MP Mustafa Nayyem on his page on Facebook.

"We did it. The "Solidarity with Ukraine" resolution of the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO was adopted in full, including all edits and protests of the Ukrainian delegation. The arguments of our colleagues from the Bundestag that the document should not mention the annexation of the Crimea and that the words "Russian-backed separatist forces" should be removed from the text were not heard. The German delegation was defeated by speeches of representatives of the United States, France, Poland and, in the first place, Ukraine," he said.

The only amendment by our German colleagues which was adopted concerned the change of spelling of the name of Ukrainian film director Sentsov. It should be not Russian (Oleg Sentsov), but Ukrainian "Oleh Sentsov". We sincerely thank them for that because spelling of names is extremely important," Nayyem added.Источник: https://censor.net.ua/en/n355791
