 General Staff: Demilitarization plan for Shyrokyne to be agreed by Aug. 3

The Trilateral Contact Group should come up with a demilitarization plan for Shyrokyne by Aug. 3 in Minsk.

As reported by Censor.NET citing UNIAN, this was announced by the General Staff spokesman Vladyslav Selezniov on air of 5 Channel. "At the moment, demilitarization of Shyrokyne is a matter of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk. The president ordered to settle the issue and sign the document by Aug. 3. Then, during 10 days the heavy weaponry and tanks should be withdrawn to ensure safety of the troops sticking heels in their positions," Selezniov said.

According to him, no one leaves their positions by that time. "So far, there is no solution, all forces and means are out at forefront," the spokesman stressed. According to the HQ, the M sector demilitarization does not provide for withdrawal of troops, in particular, personnel, it provides only for heavy weapons removal.
