"Regarding the statement of my friend Yehor Firsov about meeting in Kyiv the former head of the Donetsk region police department Roman Romanov I report the following. This citizen brought the infamous terrorist and drug addict Pavel Gubarev to the meeting room of the Donetsk regional council on March 3, 2014 letting him speak at the session, despite the protests of deputies," he wrote.

"Due to Romanov's suspicious loyalty to separatists supported and inspired by the Russian security services his profile was added on the Myrotvorets web site (large data base with information about terrorists and separatists - ed.) last year. "According to the available information, Romanov sojourned in occupied Crimea immediately after his dismissal," Herashchenko added.

"I had a phone talk with one of the SBU leaders and asked him to take urgent measures to verify the facts of Romanov's activity as the head of the Donetsk Regional Department of Internal Affairs. My friend, the deputy of the Donetsk regional council Vitalii Kropachev, who didn't not betray Ukraine, is ready to testify on the events of those days in order for the Security Service and Prosecutor General's Office to have a complete picture of letting down the Ukraine's interests in late February, early March 2014, when the plague of separatism could be possibly strangled in the bud. The details of that commemorative session are laid down in the article by Vitalii Kropachev. I also gave his contacts to the SBU," the MP said.
