IMF calls on Ukraine to proceed with reforms as another tranche meeting approaches

The International Monetary Fund as a key creditor of Ukraine urged Ukrainian authorities not to fall behind with reforms, as well as to prevent country's return to previous economic grounds.

This is stated in a fund's comment published on the eve of the IMF Board of Directors meeting on Ukraine, Censor.NET reports citing UNIAN.

During the meeting, the Board of Directors will decide on allocation of a $1.7 billion tranche to Ukraine under the EFF program approved in March for a term of four years and $17.5 billion total. The first tranche of $5 billion was received immediately after program's approval.
