Poroshenko and Dutch Premier agreed to seek for tribunal alternative

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko held a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte.

This is reported by Censor.NET citing the head of state press service.

According to the report, Poroshenko marked a high level of cooperation between Australia, Belgium, Malaysia, the Netherlands and Ukraine in promoting the initiative to set up an international tribunal to bring to justice those responsible for the MH17 Malaysia airlines plane crash. "We managed to develop a comprehensive international and legal framework ensuring the prosecution of those guilty," the president of Ukraine said.

Petro Poroshenko and Mark Rutte condemned Russia's move, which, abusing the right of veto, hampered to punish those responsible for the Malaysian plane crash. "This veto is against justice. The whole world saw it," the president said. As reported, such a decision became yet another step towards international isolation of Moscow.

The president noted that Russia could block the adoption of a UN Security Council resolution, but it could not stop us on our way to a fair trial.

In this regard, Poroshenko and Mark Rutte agreed to order the heads of foreign ministries to quickly coordinate alternative proposals and work out a joint action plan intended to create an appropriate international judicial institution.
