OSCE records arrival of armed men in Donbas from Russia

OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine has recorded this week an arrival of armed people from Russia to the Donetsk region occupied territory.

As reported by Censor.NET citing Ukrainski Novyny, this was announced by the deputy head of the mission Alexander Hug at a briefing in Kyiv. "This week we have recorded armed men in uniform, who crossed the border toward Ukraine through the Marynivka checkpoint being under the "DPR" control by a minibus with the registration numbers of the so-called "DPR" and a logo of the Vostok battalion," he said.

According to Hug, an OSCE drone revealed a cluster of military equipment in terrorists-controlled Komsomolsk and to the south from the demarcation line. A Strela anti-aircraft missile system was also found by observers in the same area. No comments on the above have been received so far from the militants. Russia denies its involvement in military activities in some parts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
