Ukraine to create memorial at Malaysian Boeing crash site, Poroshenko says

Ukraine intends to create a memorial of July 17, 2014 Malaysian Boeing crash victims at the crash site in the Donetsk region.

This was announced by the president of Ukraine in his address commemorating one year of the tragedy, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.

"A year ago, a regular passenger plane Boeing 777 of Malaysia Airlines, flight MH17, was traveling from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur. 283 passengers, 15 crew members. Citizens of 10 countries. 80 children, three of them under two. Doctors, scientists, politicians, activists. Daughters, sons, grandpas and grandmas, spouses. A year ago we promised to punish those guilty of the tragedy. These were not just words. The killers have to know that the punishment is inevitable," Poroshenko said.
